My Unconventional Love Journey From Hawaii to Africa

Have you ever wanted something so much that you will do whatever it takes to get what you want? As a younger girl, I wanted my own special, fun and adventurous “male friend”. I don’t know if it’s because when I was younger boys seemed to be more fearless, or because they were involved in physical and outdoor activities that interested me, or because I thought the boys were cute. Whatever the reasons, my wanting of my own special, fun and adventurous “male friend” has not changed.

When the world pandemic shut-off Hawaii from the rest of the world and stopped all regular day-to-day life in the town I lived in, my brain thought 2 things. 1) Stay and live in the town for the next 50 plus years, or 2) go have the experience of getting a boyfriend. The reality of going after what I really wanted in this lifetime became the obvious choice.

For over 5 years now, I have been making efforts to get to know males that seem fun and adventurous. And, I have come to the realization that I am the special, fun and adventurous person I want. The “male friends” are blessings I get to enjoy and learn from.

Enjoy this video where I describe a 4+ year journey to find my own fun and adventurous “male friend”. I apologize for the limited content from my time in East Africa in 2021. I deleted a lot.
