A Nutrient Dense Food: Egg
Some foods are quietly doing a lot. You eat one food and your body receives a variety of nutrients it requires and desires.
Today I introduce you to one of my nutrient dense staples β the simple, beautiful egg. π₯
One egg quietly gives:
β’ Protein β to repair muscles and keep me full
β’ Healthy fats β to feed the brain, support hormones, and help absorb other nutrients
β’ B vitamins β to power energy, brain function, and the nervous system
β’ Choline β to support memory and brain function
β’ Selenium β to support thyroid health and immunity
β’ Vitamin D β to strengthen bones and lift mood
β’ Vitamin A β to protect eyes and skin
β’ Iron and zinc β to boost energy and immunity
One egg with all these nutrients does all this work.
When shopping or eating, I often pick real, nutrient dense foods from nature, like an egg.
Eating a nutrient dense food along with other nutrient dense foods creates a nutrient dense meal. ππ©·
Welcome to the meal.

I share my experiences and my perspective. Eating and healing look different for everyone. If you are struggling with food or your relationship with your body, please find support. You donβt have to do this alone.
