Walnuts
I have been told that a person can only eat a couple of walnuts and then has to stop. Not for me. I can eat a large amount of walnuts at one time.
Walnuts are packed with fat and energy, so a handful goes a long way, but eating more is fine unless someone has a nut allergy.
A walnut is the seed of a walnut tree. A seed has to hold everything a new tree needs to start growing. So a walnut tree packs each walnut seed full of fat, protein, and stored energy. That is what reaches your body when you eat one.
Walnuts contain a fat your body cannot make, so that fat has to come from food. Walnuts have more of this fat than any other common nut.
Your body uses this fat to build the boundaries around your cells. Your body also turns some of this fat into a different fat, called DHA. Your brain uses a lot of DHA.
A walnut even looks like a brain, with two halves and wrinkles. I find it beautiful that a nut shaped like a brain carries a fat the brain depends on.
Walnuts give your body fat, protein, fiber, and magnesium.
You are welcome to eat nuts your body likes.
