Week 3: Plank

Last November, I traveled to Thailand for some personal development courses. While there, the four week course to develop my yoga knowledge got canceled. Since I had already made a commitment to myself to create 53 weeks of “yoga pose” videos about the poses I had learned and been practicing, I recommitted myself to doing the videos, even without the experience of a yoga training. For weeks after recommitting, I was nervous. I thought I required assistance from some local yoga instructors. What I finally realized was I required myself to gather additional information about the poses. That has consisted of rereading from the original book I learned from, watching and listening to experienced instructors on videos, and practicing poses differently. I encourage you to do the extra work in areas of your life where you wish to achieve greater ability.
