Week 8: Low Lunge Pose
Prior to this week, I took four weeks off from my daily yoga pose practice. Why, I have wondered, did it take me four weeks to return to my practice. First, I believe the body was exhausted from being continuously pushed to perform tasks, confront new situations, and manage stress. Second, I got a sinus infection that still seems to be lingering. Third, I was enjoying sleeping longer hours. Whatever the reasons, I am happy to recommit myself to practicing yoga poses in the mornings. I encourage you to recommit yourself to something you believe is important for you.
