Ulu From a Jar
There is a farmer at the farmers market who sells jars of ulu, also known as breadfruit. He is not there every Friday, so when he is there selling his ulu, I buy some.
He preserves his ulu in oil and vinegar and packages the ulu in pint and quart size glass jars. I typically buy the quart size because I like the flavor and nutrients of the ulu. I do not know what kind of oil or vinegar he uses.
Last week he was at the market, and I bought two quarts. I am finishing the first one now, and I have a full jar in the refrigerator.
You are welcome to eat food you did not make yourself.
