Week 6: Baby Cobra & Upward Facing Dog

The name Starcy was given to me a few years ago when I was living on an island in eastern Africa. I was using a map to show some people where the Hawaii islands are located within the Pacific Ocean. One of the people said, “You are a Star from the Sea.” I liked that sentence, and the name Starcy (StarSea) stayed with me.

One of my favorite things to do is view the stars. From the ocean, the beach, the jungle, the desert, the mountains, anywhere the stars are prominent at night, I love forcing my head back and viewing in awe what can be seen without the illumination of human lights.

Baby Cobra & Upward Facing Dog are poses that can strengthen the body for nighttime star gazing.
